The Middle East Institute offers private tutoring in Arabic, Dari, Hebrew, Pashto, Persian, Turkish, and Urdu. We pair students with highly qualified language instructors based on the specific goals and requests of the student. Tutoring can also be arranged for those learning a dialect. 

On-site tutoring at MEI costs $55/hr.

Off-site tutoring starts at $65/hr and up depending on location.

A minimum purchase of 3 hours is required to start tutoring. Tutoring sessions must be a minimum of 1.5 hours.

Group Tutoring is also available.

Cancellation Policy: Students must notify the Department of Languages (202-785-2710 or languages@mei.edu) of any cancellation 24-hours in advance not to be charged 1.5hours for a missed session. No-shows will be billed for the entire session.
