Abbas (Eddy) Farouq Zuaiter is chief operating officer and a member of the management committee of Soros Fund Management LLC, a private investment management firm he joined in October 2002. Mr. Zuaiter is also chairman of the firm’s valuation and brokerage committees and a member of its oversight committee. Previously, he was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP with responsibility for some of its largest alternative investment management clients. A certified public accountant, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs.

Mr. Zuaiter is a board member of the Arab Bankers Association of North America and a member of the Managed Funds Association. He earned a combined B.S. and B.A. degree with distinction in accounting and finance from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. He serves on the boards of Gavilon Holdings LLC, and Ophedge Investment Services LLC. He is also a member of the board of directors of several charitable organizations.
