Susan B. Bastress is an attorney and principal in Bastress & Associates, LLC, a law firm specializing in Middle East business consulting and commercial law. Previously Ms. Bastress was a partner at the international law firm of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and at Patton Boggs, where she was chair of its real estate group. She established the Doha office of Patton Boggs in 2003 and was the first non-Qatari attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Qatar.
For over 25 years, Ms. Bastress has represented foreign governments, private and public companies, real estate developers and contractors, municipalities and non-profit organizations. She is a graduate of Duke University and George Washington University Law School.
